Praetorian has been hired by the Office of His Excellency, Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, to eliminate various insurgent factions that are continuing to disrupt the peaceful nation of Myanmar.
// Political Situation
Following years of a grinding, multi-front civil war, the military regime of the State Administration Council (SAC) faces severe structural degradation across its northern fronts. While the Myanmar military maintains absolute air supremacy and heavy artillery networks, its conventional infantry forces lack the technical specialization, mobility, and asymmetric training necessary to purge entrenched guerrilla forces from the canopy jungles, mountainous choke points, and hostile urban sectors.
The Republic of Myanmar exercises a highly contested control over its northern territories, where several entrenched revolutionary factions exercise military control. Following the 2021 coup, relations with other countries have declined sharply. Consequently, the surviving government-in-exile has entered into backdoor negotiations with foreign intelligence agencies regarding the deployment of advanced tactical assets to serve as a deterrent to further aggression. These talks have been condemned by President Min Aung Hlaing, who views any outside intervention as an explicit act of war.
// Operational Objectives
Praetorian’s primary objective in northern Myanmar is to pacify dissent within the civilian population, secure vital economic infrastructure, and systematically disrupt armed resistance. Praetorian has been given broad authority to determine how to achieve these goals.
While deployed within government designated areas, Praetorian personnel will possess total legal immunity, per Myanmar’s “Law to Protect Multi-Party Democratic General Elections from Disruption and Sabotage”.
// Intelligence
Northern Myanmar is home to multiple rebel factions and Ethnic Armed Organizations, some of which exercise nearly total military control of their territories. Enemy composition and equipment ranges from civilians with 3D-Printed weapons and single-shot hunting rifles to battle hardened revolutionaries that have been fighting for independence for decades.
// Deployment
Deployment will commence on 16 June, 2026. Specific details will be provided to all contracted personnel no later than 72 hours prior to deployment.
