Mission Objectives
Banshee Company has been tasked with following up on intelligence provided by the OSS personnel that surrendered on 12Jan2024.
Mission Intel
Task 1
After non-enhanced interrogation conducted by the Operational Support Division, the surrendering OSS personnel provided the following intelligence:
- There has been no contact with OSS HQ since the beginning of the withdrawal from Estonia. Unit leaders still in the area believe that they have been abandoned by OSS Command in an attempt to cut their loses.
- There are at least two platoons worth of OSS that are currently in hiding. After providing PDS personnel with OSS frequencies and encryption keys, PDS OSD has determined that local forces still in the area have almost no supplies, and are currently hiding from a PMC based out of the southeastern portions of the area that has been identified as 'Eclipse'.
- Additional radio traffic indicated that one of the few surviving officers, who has been given the codename 'Green Mark', was aware of the unit surrendering to PDS, and has been communicating with subordinates in an attempt to gather more information.
Banshee Company has been directed by Colonel Sharpe, TACSER Division CO, to investigate. Prior to deployment, AN4 James Jizzim from PDS OSD will direct the leader of the surrendering squad, Sergeant Alexei Romanov, to make contact with surviving OSS elements and encourage them to surrender as well. Our orders are to not initiate hostilities against remaining OSS elements, and if possible, make contact and deliver them to the Länsikylä sawmill for interrogation and extraction.
Eclipse Specific Intel
- Checkpoints have been identified via UAV surveillance along the main roads heading to the south.
- All contact with Eclipse is to be avoided at all cost. While hostilities have already occurred, it is believed that we were misidentified as OSS.
