With the Indian military being pulled out of the region, PDS is currently in the process of removing it's assets and exfiling, our contract having been completed by the local military forces abandoning the AO. Aztec and Olympus platoons have arrived to assist in securing our equipment that is still on the ground, with Spear Company arriving to provide support as we depart. Having said that, the best way to get a bully to think twice about messing with someone is to turn around and punch them right in the face to let them know who they are dealing with, and that is precisely what we are going to do.
Local defense forces have fled the area, leaving all of their equipment in place. Equipment that we will use to not only slow their advance (and provide much needed time for our units to depart), but to let them know precisely what we think of them.
Our contacts in the US intelligence community have identified several locations in the area that currently have functional, yet abandoned, IDF and AA assets. There are currently three sites that will be secured and utilized by Olympus and Spear Company personnel:
- An artillery battery at 060112, with four guns, will be secured by Olympus 2-3;
- A mobile anti-aircraft radar located at 148161, which is tied to mobile SAM launchers currently at the southwestern airfield, will be secured by Olympus 2-1; and
- Two MLRS systems located at 169121 will be secured by Spear 2-3 and 2-4
