Rohit Gupta, the Indian Minister of Tribal Affairs, was travelling to an area in northwestern India to speak with several members of the Santhal Tribe regarding their evacuation. During his flight, his helicopter was damaged by a surface-to-air missile, and was forced to make a blind crash landing. Unfortunately, his bird came down on the wrong side of the conflict area, and his current whereabouts is unknown. We have been asked to retrieve either him, or his body, and return him to the southwest airfield for extraction.
An element of Aztec (Aztec 3-2) has arrived to provide EW support for this mission. Additionally, Olympus platoon has arrived in the region, and with the Indian military leaving the surrounding areas, has begun working to extract PDS assets from the region.
Mission Intel
Satellite intelligence provided by partner nations has shown a small enemy force in the area immediately surrounding the crash (marked area includes detected enemy units). SIGINT has alerted us to the presence of a RF white noise generator, which is drowning out radio signals in the area. The generator has been traced to the position marked on the map as "Jamming Site". This generator is preventing us from monitoring radio signals to determine the location of PLA forces.
A C-130 is on station at the southwest airfield standing by to extract the Minister. Additionally, Indian forces stationed to the west have arrived, and are on standby for evac as well.
Mission Objectives
- Travel to the jamming site and destroy the jamming equipment
- With the assistance of Aztec 3-2, locate sites in the area that are currently occupied
- Once identified, travel to the location(s) and locate the Minister
- Evac the Minister to the southwestern airfield
