Several objectives previously visited by Norse Platoon have been captured by the PLA during their quick mobilization into the area. The highest priority of those locations are the airfields designated "Grape Ape", which was captured on Wednesday, and "Bag Whore", which was captured on the morning of the 5th. Both airfields were captured by a combined arms unit, consisting on infantry and armor, with rotary-wing aircraft for support/CAS.
A column of vehicles, consisting of armored and motorized vehicles, has been spotted preparing to move from "Bag Whore" to "Grape Ape", which is in the early stages of being setup as a logistics center for the area. Tonight's objective is two-fold, and may require the ground element to split into separate elements to successfully complete the objective.
Mission Intel
Local PLA forces are confirmed to have infantry, mechanized and armor units in the area, with rotary-wing (and at least 1 fixed wing) elements in the area. Patrols in the southern region have not yet been detected, but enemy contact is expected to increase in the northern areas.
QRF is to be expected during all engagements, so conflict avoidance should be a top priority.
Mission Objectives
- Ambush the convoy leaving "Bag Whore".
- Potential ambush points have been identified by white question marks
- The last ambush point, a white exclamation mark, is the last possible site
- Destroy any assets currently at "Grape Ape"
Deployment Conditions
Est. Deployment time is 1930
Weather forecast is clear
NOTE - Due to the nature of this mission, if the ground element does split to accomplish both objectives, the element assigned to "Grape Ape" is authorized thermal vision goggles only. No thermal scopes.
