After investigating the area identified by the intelligence from last week, Norse Platoon assaulted what was discovered to be a cave base, which appeared to have been recently abandoned. Intelligence discovered at the location pointed to a town in the north named Clayton, with additional references to 'Mr. Chow' and 0845. Norse Platoon quickly drove to the area and conducted an assault, eliminating all combatants in the area.
While finishing the assault, a Mi-8 was spotted flying over the area. The helo was identified by aviation as bearing the symbols of the People's Liberation Army of China. The helicopter did not land, and upon seeing the fighting on the ground, turned and departed to the northeast.
