Norse Platoon successfully assaulted the southwestern research facility, eliminating a large force of military contractors and Gaia's Fist terrorists. Several hostages were extracted and brought to the airfield, where they were debriefed and released back to EcoFuture. Additionally, explosives were found on the desalinization equipment that operated at the island. All explosive devices were diffused and returned to the airfield for inspection.
A small group of terrorists managed to escape the combat via boat to the water treatment facility on the main island, where they linked up with an additional force that had occupied the area without notice. Additional explosive devices were discovered there as well, which were diffused. During the fighting, a civilian van was sighted driving away from the facility, and it is believed to have been the group of individuals that escaped the island. Aviation elements Chimera and Hades followed them for as long as possible, heading east down the MSR, until they had to return to the water treatment facility for pickup.
Local authorities contacted Company HQ a short time later, alerting Praetorian that a group of Gaia's Fist terrorists had crashed their van at the local hospital, and that several officers and civilians had been killed.
