Of the four individuals that Norse Platoon was tasked with rescueing, only one was recovered alive (although, he was covered in urine). A video posted on Liveleak showed the fourth hostage being beheaded, Al-Qaeda style, in response to EcoFuture "siding with the facists, and for sending their thugs to try and stop us". The video then cut to several still images of Norse Platoon (from the perspective of a drone in the air) assaulting the final objective, as well as a video of a Norse element striking a civilian attempting to flee via swimming with a powerboat.

EcoFuture has denounced the actions of Gaia's Fist, and has promised that the full force of international law will be brought down on them. Internally, EcoFuture's contract manager has lodged a complaint with Praetorian over Norse's actions. Further instances of civilian death, either intentional or not, will result in contract termination.
