Going Green - Important Contract Details from

An addendum has been placed on the contract signed by PDS at the behest of the EcoFuture Foundation. When conducting operations relating to contract specified objectives and obligations, a prohibition has been placed on the use of "big, scary guns", to quote our contract representative. What this means is:

- No armed aviation/ground vehicle asset is authorized to be used while in the AO, to include drones;
- No static emplacements, to include mortar tubes or mounted MGs are to be used while in the AO;
- No shoulder/under barrel fired explosive munitions are to be used while in the AO; and
- No LMG/MMG weapon platforms are to be used while in the AO

Our contract representative from EcoFuture, Alex Ramirez, has stated that their organization does not want the public to view them as being associated with a highly militaristic organization.
