With the discovery of the underground cave system, and the Australian military's newly found stance towards PDS being "We're friends, but you still need to get off of our lawn because you are trouble", our ability to continue with the Southern Cross contract in Australia has been severely impacted. While Southern Cross' shipping operations ARE more secure due to prior action, the threat of continued harassment by the original crime syndicate still exists. With a small contact extension being requested, and using the exact words spoken by CEO Chet Willingsford, Praetorian has been ".....tasked with a more aggressively defensive mission.....". Using his contacts throughout southeast Asia, he has not only located a significant hub of their activity, but has also determined that said area is where Mr. Candi (the previously identified "head" of the syndicate) operates out of.
PDS is in the process of redeploying to the target area in Vietnam. Entry visas to the country have already been provided to all PDS contractors, with "funding to provide expedited issuance of said visas" having been paid by Southern Cross. Additionally, local military forces have announced a "surprise training deployment", which will unfortunately have most of the area's military deployed for the next month. Due to this, and with the blessing of the Vietnamese, Southern Cross has "volunteered PDS to serve temporarily as a regional military defense unit" to serve as guardians of the area at large against "any potential aggressors". More intelligence regarding "potentially aggressive forces" will be provided prior to full operational deployment.
