During their tasking to support Aztec Platoon with setting up the Moonlink connection, Norse Platoon came under fire from several snipers located on a hill above their position. After eliminating them, an investigation showed that they were wearing Australian military uniforms. A quick call into the local military base kicked off an investigation, which was begun by a group of Australian military personnel approaching Norse in an APC from the base to the southeast. Shortly after the bodies were taken away, another group of Australian military personnel arrived on scene to collect the bodies and begin the investigation. After calling the military base to confirm the identities of the new group, it was discovered that the first group was NOT affiliated with the military, and that the APC they drove up in was not listed on the military's inventory logs. The Australians gave no additional information, and PDS is unaware of what (if anything) is being done.

After helping Aztec, Norse proceeded to the town of Saint George to assist with providing security for the Mayor's press conference. Shortly after the beginning of their patrol, a group of snipers eliminated both the Mayor and the Chief of Police, escaping via helicopter in what can only be described as "a perfect hit". The helicopter was tracked to an island in the northeast, just south of the small shipping hub. After the report of their position was given by personnel that witnessed the helo fly over the airfield enroute to the island, Olympus 2-3's cTabs and radios went dark. Norse Platoon loaded into a chinook and travelled to the shipping hub, where they found the bodies of the Olympus element, as well as an abandoned camp, which housed the helicopters used, as well as an old cellphone presumed to be dropped by one of the assassins. On the phone was a text message hinting that the group of assassins were paid professionals. Their identities, as well as that of their employer, remain a mystery.
