Norse Platoon successfully completed the assault on Campbeltown, leading the operation to liberate the city from entrenched Russian forces. The platoon breached the northeastern defensive lines and systematically cleared key locations throughout the city, including administrative buildings and logistical hubs. Coordinating closely with Ukrainian forces, Norse Platoon was able to call in indirect artillery strikes on several hardened enemy positions, as well as counter-battery operations against several mortar positions, significantly weakening Russian defenses.
Resistance was strong in several sectors, with Russian infantry and armor attempting to mount counterattacks. However, with the support of Ukrainian artillery and drone surveillance, Norse Platoon was able to anticipate enemy movements and neutralize threats efficiently. By the end of the operation, the town was fully secured, allowing Ukrainian forces to move in and establish a firm presence within Campbeltown.
