Norse Platoon began it's mission of conducting recon within the area surrounding our FOB, as well as to get eyes on the Russian airfield in the region. The operation began as planned, with teams moving from the FOB to positions immediately southwest of the FOB. However, upon reaching the hills southwest of the FOB, PDS were spotted and engaged by a significant amount of Russian forces. The recon mission's failure was most likely due to an eagle eyed ZSU gunner that spotted ground vehicles moving into the area.
Company HQ believes that the Russian military is now aware of our current location, and it is only a matter of time before they assault our current position.
