Viridian Abyss - Act 1 - Pre-Op Intel for 30A

The Russian forces in this area have been pushed back to the regional capital of Virojoki, which is now one of the most heavily defended cities in Ukraine. Units from the 87th Armored, 110th Mechanized and 529th Mechanized regiments are converging on the city, and will attempt to dislodge the Russians from their position. Additionally, Bravo Company (16th Recon Battalion) will be conducting recon of the northern side of the objective, with orders to reach the airfield and observe activity. All ground assets have been moved to the newly established supply point at the Industrial Site, with backup vehicles being positioned at FOB North.

Mission Objectives

Once assembled, Norse Platoon will:

- Travel to the Ukrainian supply point at the Industrial Site. (PDS has a supply point there as well).
- Join the Ukrainian military in their assault of Virojoki.
- Assault the Russian HQ at the football stadium
- Capture of Russian officers is preferred. Death is acceptible as well.
- Assault the NE Airfield

Mission Intel

- The Russians are on the run, and are attempting to retreat from the area. Contact will be extreme, with infantry, armor, mechanized and aerial threats in the area.
- Expect mines, hidden soldiers, fortified sniper positions, etc.
