Viridian Abyss - Act 1 - Pre-Op Intel for 23A

With a second FOB location secured, the supply depot is now secured. Ukrainian units are beginning to be reinforced, and will be prepared to engage in heavier fighting in short order.

Mission Objectives

Once assembled, Norse Platoon will:

- Proceed to the newly established FOB;
- Travel to the northeast to establish another relay tower;
- CAREFULLY proceed to the site of Tuesday's ambush and attempt to discover intelligence as to the identity of the ambushers; and
- Move further east to conduct a sweep for remaining Russian forces

Mission Intel

The 4th Guards have continued pushing further east, and after taking losses from a flanking maneuver from the Ukrainian 110th, are proceeding to the Industrial Site. Additionally, the Russian 2nd Guards have broken contact and taken up positions at the Industrial Site.

With Vega Group having been eliminated, the presence of Russian forces is unknown in the north. The 332nd Helicopter Regiment is conducting patrols of the area (approx area is marked on map).

In the south, the 1st Guards are pulling back to the North, and are believed to be attempting to link up with the 2nd Guards.

Rules of Engagement

Past the designated "front line", all armed contacts are considered hostile. Any deviations from this will be relayed to ground element by Company HQ prior to step-off.
Infrastructure damage is a secondary concern. Our "primary" mission is the quick elimination of Russian forces in the area.
