Viridian Abyss - Act 1 - Pre-Op Intel for 13A

The northwestern regions of the area are looking very grim. With the destruction of the 87th Armored Regiment, Russia's 4th Guards are now in a position to not only destroy the Ukrainian supply point, but also turn south and close in on our current position.

Mission Objectives

We must not only protect Ukrainian interests, but also secure our area to the north to prevent a Russian attack on our position. To this end, our objectives are as follows:

- Travel north to the Supply Point and flank the Russian 4th Guards
- Once done, proceed to the Supply Point to ensure that the soldiers occupying it are secure
- Once completed, recon the northern regions of the area and identify possible locations for a second FOB

Mission Intel

- The 4th Guards are being supported by elements of the 332nd Helicopter Regiment
- The group that eliminated the Ukrainian 16th Recon Battalion has been positively identified as the Spetznaz 'Vega Group'. They are currently moving east, further into Russian held territory

Rules of Engagement

Past the designated "front line", all armed contacts are considered hostile. Any deviations from this will be relayed to ground element by Company HQ prior to step-off.
Infrastructure damage is a secondary concern. Our "primary" mission is the quick elimination of Russian forces in the area.
