After successfully avoiding an enemy Mi-24 that was conducting forward operations, Norse Platoon was able to deliver the munitions safely to the Ukrainian supply depot supporting the 4th Armored Regiment. Afterwards, Norse travelled well behind enemy lines to locate a lost Ukrainian recon unit that was trying to rescue a downed pilot. After defending itself against an attack from the Russian element responsible, Norse platoon activated the pilot's remote locator beacon, which gave the ground element the location of the pilot. One team was dispatched to pick up the pilot, with the second moving forward to support. Unfortunately, the second team drove directly into a heavily fortified Russian position, experiencing significant casualties. The remaining personnel then found themselves under attack from the Russians at the fortified location, experiencing further casualties. This element immediately broke contact and began heading back towards friendly territory, which was roughly 6km away.
After evading significant Russian search parties, and taking minor contact from a team that eventually caught up to them, the team rendezvous with the rest of Norse platoon, and were extracted successfully.
