Norse Platoon successfully deployed onto the Ukrainian coast, with the "Andrea Sultan" (SS Warcrime) successfully making it's "repairs" and departing Ukrainian waters. After ensuring the security of their newly established base of operations, they were tasked with setting up three relay stations in the nearby area to ensure stable communications as they moved forward to conduct operations. After successfully setting up the first, and narrowly avoiding the Russian military at the second, Norse came into direct contact with a Russian position just on the opposing side of the front lines. Taking moderate casualties, they conducted a short withdraw from contact to regroup and reassess.
Unknown at the time, one of Company's communications vehicles was still at the Russian controlled position. After learning of this, Company Command ordered Norse to travel back to the location with orders to "recover it if able, destroy if not". After making contact once again with the Russians, Norse HQ was able to maneuver to the truck's position, with the platoon medic hopping out their vehicle and taking control of the comms vic. All ground elements then immediately departed the area and RTB'd.
