Viridian Abyss - Act 1 - Pre-Op Intel for 30J

Under a false flag, and using shipping papers provided to us by our old friends in Maersk (from our Denmark campaign 2 years ago), the SS Warcrime has entered Ukrainian waters flying the flag of Denmark and bearing the name "Andrea Sultan". After encountering engine and electrical issues in the Mediterranean, the ship was forced to move close to the Ukrainian coast in order to weigh anchor and effect repairs. Both military forces have been alerted to this, and with the ship still in international waters, neither side has the authority to board for inspection.

With the majority of our equipment and assets having been delivered to our FOB by Archangel, Norse will depart the Warcrime and conduct a low altitude insertion via helo to our FOB. Once on the ground, Norse will take inventory of ground assets, then conduct a combat patrol around the FOB to ensure it is secure.

Once secured, Norse will depart via ground vehicle to the designated points and setup communication towers for future use.

- Travel to designated areas and setup communications relays

Mission Intel

- The Ukrainian 93rd Mechanized Brigade, as well as the 80th Air Assault Brigade, are based roughly 3km to our southwest. They will be conducting combat patrols in the area, but should be visible via cTab.
- The current front is marked on the map. Once across the line, contact is almost guaranteed.
- This is an active warzone. Unless directed to by Company HQ, to avoid blue-on-blue, maintain a distance from active engagements.
- Information regarding Eclipse's location is not available. Our TACOPS Intel points to them being active in this area, but no further details are available.
- Of note, there is a derelict Obsidian base in the area, a remnant of previous engagements with them.
