Following up on information provided to them previously by Oleg, Norse Platoon once again travelled southeast in search of an abandoned Soviet research camp. After fighting their way through waves of creatures, they found it in the center of an old rock quarry. They were able to discover a map of local gravitational anomalies, as well as an audio log from a "Dr. Yuri Petrov", who was the lead scientist of this camp.
After returning to base to rearm, they once again encountered Oleg while investigating the remaining sites. He pointed Norse to the south towards a factory, where a group of OSS (along with several civilian researchers) were based out of. While little intelligence was gathered, a brief log was discovered that gave a brief description of their "expedition".
