Halloween Ops - 29Oct2024

During last Friday's operation, Eclipse forces successfully abducted our target, Anitoli Demidov, extracting him via VTOL transport planes. Ukrainian radar traced the flights to the regions surrounding Virolathi, where the planes landed briefly before departing again. Intelligence is limited, but HUMINT points to Eclipse taking Demidov to Virolathi. With Eclipse previously operating in the region, it is suspected that they still have a presence there. Compounding the situation, the nuclear strike conducted by Russian bombers in the southwestern area of Virolathi has added environmental risks to the situation in the region. The radiological impact on the AO has resulted in severe contamination, specifically in the southwestern quadrant, presenting significant hazards and disrupting Ukrainian and PDS intelligence capabilities.

Our primary objective is to recover Demidov, who's location is currently unknown at this time. Secondary to this objective is to discover why Eclipse is in the area, and why they have brought Demidov with them.

Mission Objectives:

Surveillance shows that Relay Tower 4, initially deployed by Norse Platoon and previously dormant, is now actively transmitting data packets. This tower appears to have been hijacked, and is being used to broadcast encrypted data within the region.

- Find and apprehend Anitoli Demidov ALIVE
- Investigate Relay Tower 4 for possible information regarding Demidov/Eclipse
- Gather intelligence on Eclipse's operations in the region
- Eliminate Eclipse forces if encountered
