Arctic Sentinel - Act 2 - Pre-Op Intel for 07

After Norse's sweep of the region south of the SE Airfield, Ukrainian drone operators are reporting zero contacts within 5km of the airfield. Now, having setup shop at that location, Norse has been given several tasks that directly support Ukranian air strikes on strategic locations in the southeastern areas of the island.

Russian forces are currently occupying the Schrattendamm Power Plant, which provides power generation and switching services to the southern portions of the island. Norse Platoon will quietly approach the power plant, and hopefully without rounds being fired, disable power to several towns. This should temporarily disable Russian AA, providing Ukrainian fixed-wing and rotary aviation assets with a small window of time to conduct their strikes.

Once air strikes have concluded, Norse Platoon will support Ukrainian ground forces by helping to sweep the areas hit by Ukrainian air.

Mission Objectives

- Travel to Schrattendamm Power Plant
- Disable power to the following locations: Schangen, Sissach, Liestal, Sorenberg, SE Airfield
- (OPTIONAL) Do so __without__ firing shots. While drone recon has confirmed the presence of only infantry, Russian ground vehicles are nearby.
- Once disabled, proceed to assist the Ukrainians by conducting foot/vehicle patrols of the disabled towns

Mission Intelligence

- The power plant is guarded by approximately 2 squads of Russian VDV
- QRF should be expected given the value of the location
- Once disabled, a heavy Russian response is expected
- IMPORTANT - Given the nature of this station, once power is cut to an area, it will be out until an engineer can reset the switching system.
