The Warcrime has been impounded by the Venezuelan military. Our contacts in the Gulf Cartel report spotting our vehicle assets being loaded onto it just before the military arrived. It is currently docked at the harbor, filled with our gear, our weapons, and our people. Olympus, Aztec, and the original crew are all being held aboard.
If we are to continue existing as a fighting force, we need to take the ship.
Primary Objectives:
- Board and secure the Warcrime.
- Free detained crew and personnel from Olympus and Aztec.
- If needed, conduct refueling operations.
- Navigate out of Venezuelan waters and follow a course Seaman Flaccid has charted to let us lay low.
Mission Intelligence:
- The Venezuelan military has seized control of the ship and posted armed guards around the dock. Expect disciplined but conventional forces.
- It is unknown if our people are confined to quarters. It is safe to assume, though, that all arms and munitions are secured by Venezuelan guards.
- The Gulf Cartel will stage a diversion at a nearby checkpoint to split the garrison and open our approach window.
- We are unsure of the ship's status regarding fuel. Flaccid reported that refueling was scheduled to take place, but doesn't know if that happened once things went south.
- Mono confirms the adjacent liquid cargo vessel is full of heavy fuel oil. We’ll need to manually pump the fuel from it into the Warcrime, using the refueling systems contained on the nearby oil rigs. Expect this process to take time and draw attention.
- Seaman Flaccid’s has charted an escape route, designed to avoid detection. We will begin by sailing to Cape Verde first, then proceeding to Togo under the radar.
- The Warcrime is currently sailing under a Liberian Flag, with a current registration. We will be sailing with our transponder disabled to help avoid detection.
