Following mounting diplomatic pressure from Interim Ambassador Nina Dupree, the Venezuelan government has formally authorized Malden's continued counter-cartel operations in the Playa del Dulce region. Tren de Aragua’s local network is believed to have shifted assets and personnel into the region (informally known as Mexino) following setbacks in Bozoum. With Gulf Cartel contacts confirming increased Tren presence in the area, PDS is tasked with expanding our operational footprint and preparing for targeted action.

Primary Objectives
- Conduct reconnaissance of suspected Tren de Aragua strongholds
- Identify key logistical, safehouse, or command locations
- Collect intelligence to support follow-on raids and interdictions

Mission Intelligence
Playa del Dulce (Mexino) is a large, diverse region with a mix of urban sprawl, isolated communities, and rugged countryside. Tren de Aragua has used the area as a fallback zone, benefiting from smuggling corridors and informal alliances with minor criminal groups. Civilian is high, increasing the risk of operational exposure.

Initial intelligence suggests that Tren elements are reorganizing logistics and recruiting local muscle. Gulf Cartel sources are standing by to assist, though their resources in the region are limited to a few individuals that can assist with reconnaissance. Our objective is to quietly map Tren presence and identify actionable targets for future strikes.

A team from Olympus Platoon has been detailed to assist with regional operations as needed.
