Norse’s diversion bought the Syndicate valuable time. While the Ghanaian military scrambled east to respond to the surprise raids, the smugglers moved Praetorian’s vehicles and the blood diamond haul further south. But Ghanan military units have been ordered a crackdown on the region. Roadblocks, UAV patrols, and hunter-killer teams are tightening the net. If we don’t secure a path south, our escape window slams shut.
Primary Objectives
- Hunt down and eliminate/capture two drone control sites being used to direct UAV patrols across the sector.
- Destroy equipment, or capture and repurpose the drones.
- Recon and clear a path south to the waypoint provided by the Syndicate.
- Neutralize or bypass Ghanaian checkpoints.
- Ambush enemy patrol/QRF elements hunting for our convoy.
- Once at the waypoint, load into the supplied boats and evac to the south.
Mission Intelligence
- The Ghanans know where we are at. Sticking around will end poorly.
- UAV flights from Mefunvo Island are actively scanning for convoys. Until the control sites are eliminated, staying hidden will be difficult.
- Two UAV relay/control sites have been established by the Ghanans, one north of Bissora, the other Mansoa.
- Each is believed to be lightly guarded, but expect fixed-wing recon drones overhead until they’re silenced.
- The Ghanaian Army has setup checkpoints and roaming patrols throughout the area. Enemy composition is a mix of infantry, technicals, and possibly an armored elements (BTR-60, T-55/72).
- Expect QRF from the east (the same garrison Norse provoked last op) to deploy once contact is made. Estimate: 20–30 minutes response time.
