Ashes of Empire - Pre-Op Intel for 15 July 20

With the area immediately surrounding the airfield now secure, we are now able to operate in the region more freely. A map at a vehicle in Naudeh carrying several mortar tubes and ammo points to the town of Salam. Drone recon has positively identified several mortar emplacements. While believed to not be sufficiently accurate to strike our position on the airfield, they do pose a significant threat.

Most of the company is now in the region, and have brought us our inventory of Angries and Happies. Additionally, Valkyrie has arrived with an armed Little Bird and a Huey. The remainder of ground/air assets are currently being brought north by Archangel and Olympus/Aztec HQs, and are expected to arrive on Thursday.

Primary Objectives
- Insert into the area surrounding Salam
- Verify the presence of the mortar tubes
- Once verified, either capture or destroy. Preference is to capture.
- Standby for possible QRF from FOB Nauzad and Khas

Mission Intelligence
- FOB Nauzad is confirmed to have a large JNIM presence, to include 1 T-34-85-M, as well as possible BTR-60s
- Khas is a small village just south of the region's largest Mosque.
- Do NOT damage the Mosque.
- A quadcopter drone, operated by Aztec, will be in the air to provide support.
- The weapons cache discovered during our assault of the airfield contains a fairly good selection of explosives (mines, etc.). Their use is authorized.
- NOTE: Forsaking your half-life for Immortan Grimes is NOT authorized.
