I hope you are well. I write with serious news. A group of armed men come this morning. They take the airfield from us. They move fast, with good weapons. Some wear uniforms, some not. I think they are not from here. They speak on radio, but not French or Arabic. Maybe English, but not like Americans. We try to defend, but they have better guns. Some of our men are hurt, most dead. We fall back to Landay.
Now they control the airfield. They bring more men by car. They put up their own flag, small and black, I think. We watch from distance. They work like soldiers, very organized. I think they stay long.
