Following the successful destruction of three Georgian positions and their associated artillery batteries, the strategic landscape on Yulakia has shifted significantly. While the northeast is secure, the western and southwestern regions remain under firm Georgian control. Global tensions have reached a breaking point: NATO has issued a formal 24-hour ultimatum for Russian forces to cease hostilities and begin to withdraw. Simultaneously, Turkey has halted previous Montreux Convention restrictions, opening the straits to allow multiple NATO naval vessels into the Black Sea. For the time being, Praetorian has been told to hold position while our GRU contacts finalize the next phase of the operation.
Primary Objectives
- Standby for updated deployment orders from GRU contacts at operation time.
- Prepare for infiltration into western Yulakia to recon and assault identified Georgian fortifications just in case.
Mission Intelligence
- A 24-hour window has been established for Russian withdrawal; expect a significant shift in NATO's kinetic posture once this timer expires.
- Multiple NATO warships have entered the Black Sea following Turkey's decision to open its waters, joining the Turkish frigate already positioned 27km west of Yulakia.
- At least one high-altitude NATO UAV remains active over the island, likely providing targeting data for the newly arrived naval assets.
Deployment Conditions
Step-off: TBD (Pending GRU update)
