The mission was established with the primary objective of conducting a quick reconnaissance of Red Lotus Base, followed by a direct assault to secure specific files from Georgian servers and the destruction of facility assets. Pre-mission planning organized the force into three teams, each equipped with anti-tank weaponry, while team leaders carried demo charges for the asset destruction. To maintain stealth, the teams planned a northerly off-road insertion route through canyon terrain to bypass known checkpoints.
The infiltration phase proved difficult as the rugged terrain caused multiple vehicle tire failures and significant navigation delays. Upon reaching the objective, reconnaissance confirmed the presence of Georgian infantry and a parked MI-24 attack helicopter. The assault commenced from an overwatch position on the high ground, supported by a tactical hack that turned the base's automated UGV Stopers against the enemy forces. An intense firefight, with CAS providing support to the Georgians, resulted in the destruction of an additional MI-24 and various ground assets using anti-air and anti-tank weaponry.
Despite the successful retrieval of the required data files, the operation was marred by multiple casualties sustained during the close-quarters combat. The final exfiltration was hurried due to the arrival of A-10 attack aircraft circling the area, necessitating an immediate withdrawal.
