The situation on Yulakia has escalated. Following the unplanned firefight while approaching the western base, the Georgian military is on high alert. To identify the strength, composition, and purpose of Red Lotus Base, we will execute a "hammer and anvil" diversion. By striking the Krylov Depot, we intend to draw the bulk of the local garrison out of Red Lotus, allowing our recon element to observe their response and peak inside the gates.
Primary Objectives
- A small detachment will infiltrate the depot and destroy all prepositioned supplies to trigger an emergency reinforcement request.
- The main platoon element will establish an Observation Post (OP) in the hills northeast to monitor the base during the sortie.
- Document everything at the base, focusing on signals equipment if present.
- Depending on remaining infantry strength, as well as weighing ROI, approach the base and determine if any intelligence can be gathered.
- Once the intel is gathered, all elements will fall back to the safehouse for additional tasking.
Secondary Objectives
- If you are able, quietly eliminate any HVTs identified. Preference is to bodybag and extract with them.
Mission Intelligence
- Given it's size, Red Lotus Base appears to be the primary source of reinforcements for the sector. Expect QRF to mobilize within minutes of the first explosion.
- A secondary outpost is located directly across the water from Krylov. We are unsure as to it's size/composition.
- According to intelligence, Krylov Depot is lightly guarded, but is a storage point for Georgian supply lines. Focused demolition of any ammunition caches is the priority.
- Maintain strict radio silence until the diversion at Krylov is initiated, so the base is not alerted.
- Boats have been provided by GRU. They are located west where our original insertion point is, directly west of Camp Duboak.
