After the slowest and most careful drone flight possible, we have positively identified the mystery force from Friday as Eclipse. We do not know what they are doing in the area, but we suspect they are looking for the same thing that everyone else is, the "unknown bunker". With their arrival, our employer has gone dark, and is not answering any calls. Olympus and Aztec platoons are reporting the same, with his employees having abandoned their positions and equipment in place before departing. At this point, it's safe to assume that Sergei Markov will not be paying us, and that we are on our own.
Several hours ago, we received a call from the local governor. He has received similar treatment from Markov, and in fear of his life has asked us to help him escape the region, to the tune of 100 million rubles. With half of the money now on it's way to our accounts, we are going to oblige him as we make our own way out.
Primary Objectives
- Grab our vehicle assets and travel to the Governor's house.
- Take the Governor to the highway landing field between our position and his mansion.
- Once he is taken care of, travel to the extreme NE. Archangel will be on call to begin picking up our assets and shuttling them to the Warcrime, which is off-shore to the NE.
- With the Russians still in the area, we will have to create a distraction so that Archangel can get our assets out of the area.
Mission Intelligence
- There has been no further Russian radio traffic detected to the west. It is safe to assume that the Russians in that area have been taken out.
- There is still an active presence in the east.
- Eclipse's position at this time is unknown, however we need to work under the assumption that they will be coming for us as well.
