After the amount of contact taken during the attempted recon, the Russian unit's commander, Colonel Pavel Nikitin, has arrived in the area. Governor Rudenko has attempted to speak with him to determine his mission, with no success, however we are fairly confident that he has arrived in response to the "issues" encountered by Norse previously. The Russians know we are here, but they don't know where we are based out of. We need to decapitate the unit before they can begin their hunt.
Primary Objectives
- Locate the Colonel and his Executive Officer. Eliminate both.
- If undetected, return to base
- If detected, lose pursuers in the wood line before RTB'ing
Mission Intelligence
- The Colonel has commandeered housing at the Innhavet Ski Resort to the northwest.
- The Colonel's security force has an unknown amount of soldiers, however we do know that it contains at least two BTR-80a's and an armed Mi-8 variant.
- The Colonel's XO, Major Kirill Arsenyev, has taken residence in the resort as well. They regularly meet, but their schedule is unknown.
