With the courier's delivery acquired, and the sudden GTFO situation encountered by Norse, we have returned to our FOB in the Hellanmaa region. The package itself contained the following:
- Several sealed vials of some form of liquid
- A biological testing kit, and
- A list of Russian units operating in the region
Olympus has taken possession of the vials, and is returning them to our base for analysis. Examining the list contained in the package, it would appear that several Spetsnaz units are working in conjunction with regular VDV forces, conducting a search for a cold-war era bunker. Using this list, (and the accompanying operating frequencies the units are using), we will be doing the following:
Primary Objectives
- Conduct a sweep of the area, looking for military units operating radios within the 1027Mhz range
- Eliminate said units, search for intel
- If possible, identify their base of operations in the region.
- If we can do this, we will assault and search for more information on this bunker they are looking for.
Mission Intelligence
- The information contained on the list points to small, squad sized elements operating semi-autonomously in the region.
- No overall command structure was identified, possibly for operational security concerns.
